Your race file
Which files can I send?
GPX, FIT or TCX — the file your watch or app exports. From Strava: open the activity → the three dots → "Export GPX". From Garmin Connect: the gear icon → "Export to GPX" or "Export original" (that's a FIT). A triathlon is usually three activities; send all three.
I only have links, not files.
That works. Paste your Strava or Garmin links in the order form and we'll take it from there. If an activity is private we'll ask you to make it visible for a day.
My watch didn't record the swim.
Very common — pool swims and some watches don't record open water. We build the print from the legs you have, or from the published course if the organiser released it. Just tell us the race and year.
The distance on my watch doesn't match the race.
Open-water GPS under-reads, and bike computers drift. We print the official race distance and your official finish time, not what the watch guessed.
Can the print say the race's name?
We print the place and the date — "Augusta, Maine · 27 July 2025". It reads cleaner, and it keeps your print clear of any organiser's trademark.
The preview
When do I see it?
Route posters: a preview by email within 3–5 business days. Finisher posters: a proof within 24–48 hours.
Can I change things?
Yes. Revisions are included, and nothing goes to print until you approve. Style changes are fine too — all four route styles cost the same.
Paper, sizes and framing
What is it printed on?
Route posters: premium matte paper, 200 gsm, smooth uncoated finish, FSC-certified. Finisher posters: 200 gsm semi-gloss, which holds the saturated colour those two designs need.
Does it come framed?
Route posters ship unframed and rolled in a protective tube; 12×16 and 18×24 fit standard US frames. The finisher poster has framed options — solid pine, shatterproof glazing, hanging kit included.
Which size should I pick?
12×16 in for a desk or a shelf. 18×24 in for a wall in a room. 24×32 in for a big empty wall or a pain cave. If in doubt, 18×24 is the one most people are happy with.
Shipping and returns
How long does shipping take?
After you approve the preview, printing and delivery take about 4–6 business days within the US. Shipping is free.
Do you ship outside the US?
Not yet from this store. Email hello@aelo.store and we'll quote you.
Can I return it?
It's personalized, so no — which is exactly why nothing prints until you've approved the preview. If it arrives damaged, send us a photo within 7 days and we reprint it at no cost.
Is payment secure?
Checkout is handled by Stripe, the same processor used by millions of businesses. Your card details never touch our servers.
